The world’s fastest athletes are set to take the start line all with the goal of earning the first Columbia Threadneedle Rankings points of the year, in the lead up to the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games.
This year, the course will feature the standard 1.5 kilometre swim, 40 kilometre bike and 10 kilometre run distance. The elite men are set to race first followed by a jam-packed star list of women.
The men’s race will kick off at 8:00pm (AEST) followed by the women’s race at 11:00pm (AEST).
