Abu Dhabi is to host a world class sporting event – the US$250,000 Abu Dhabi International Triathlon (ADIT). 

The international triathlon community will venture into the UAE capital for the 13th March, 2010 events. 

Strong cycling triathletes will savour the course taking in the best sites of the city with both a 3/200/20 long event and 1.5/100/10 short event. The ADIT format, has a shorter run leg than typical Ironman events to allow athletes to recover faster and compete more often – a factor which has been identified as crucial to international triathlon community success.
